
RISE School is recognized by State government and the Matriculation Board. Teachers hail from nearby villages and possess appropriate educational qualifications. They are then provided extensive on-job training that encompasses subject knowledge, pedagogical methods, use of technology and activity-based training.
In 2015-16 academic year, we partnered with AID India, Pratham Education Foundation to improve the reading skills and Math skills of the students. We also partnered with Schools of Equality to implement gender equality training sessions for 5th & 6th grade children and teachers.
In 2016-17 academic year, we have partnered with English Learning Foundation (ELF) , Qrius Learning Initiatives and Firki (Teach for India) .
In 2017-18, we have continued our association with Pratham, ELF and Firki (Teach For India). In addition, we plan to invite qualified teacher trainers to enhance the skills and competencies of our staff.
RISE India Trust subsidizes the fee for all the students through income from sustainable agriculture in the campus, donations from founders and well-wishers.












RISE School was set up in a remote village where the requirement for a quality school was very high. A detailed survey was carried out in early 2000 and Samiyandipudhur village in Pollachi taluk, Coimbatore district, Tamil Nadu was identified as an ideal location to start a school for rural children as there was a need for a school which provide equal educational opportunities as their urban peers at affordable cost.
